ATTORNEY PROFILE

Dan was born and raised in Fort Collins. Married to JoAnn since 1983, they've raised two children and five dogs. Dan's leisure activities include reading, skiing, fly fishing, and hunting. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Colorado (Boulder) and received a law degree from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Dan was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1981 and is also an active member of the Larimer County Bar Association. 

In his practice with a larger area law firm, Dan gained experience in the areas of Business Law, Real Estate, Civil Litigation, and Personal Injury. After practicing in a large law firm for more than 26 years, Dan opened his sole practice firm in 2007 and he spends the majority of his time on family law and divorce matters. 

Dan has handled hundreds of family law and divorce cases and knows each situation is unique. He knows divorce is a difficult decision and a stressful process.
